Dear friend,
There is indeed no substitute for hard work. The IIW Theme Work Wonders lays emphasis on putting our best efforts in the cause of Inner Wheel. We Care is the call at the national level that covers a wide spectrum of service activity which will be detailed in the next pages. Caring and sharing are typically feminine and maternal traits which all of us can easily relate to. Adding a dash of dare – leaping into action when needed, defending those who are more vulnerable gives a totality to the theme.

It is a matter of great pride and privilege to be leading District 302 as the Chairman. My vision and dream is to spread the magic and the knowledge of this noble organization which is rapidly reaching 100 years of its existence. We should be so well established and recognised in society that people approach us first for any kind of social requirement – education, health, environment….. Our focus therefore should be on branding of Inner Wheel and significant increase in our membership.

The District Directory is an important medium of communication, a very handy and all encompassing manual and yearbook. I am truly delighted to have the opportunity of greeting you through this valuable publication as we all look forward to the beginning of a new Inner Wheel year.
