Project Details:
A Tailoring Centre was inaugurated by Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada in association with AIDWA, by donating 5 sewing machines in the Inner Wheel year 2022-2023, as a continuous project for women empowerment. So far 60 financially backward and needy ladies have undergone training in this centre in 3 different batches of 20 members each. Each batch was imparted training in Tailoring and Fashion designing for a period of 3 months during the last one and half years. Today, in connection with International Women’s day,a meeting was held in Shramika Bhavan, One Town, Vijayawada for these 60 trainees and the importance of women empowerment was explained. Games were conducted and prizes were given. Certificates were given to all the trainees who completed the tailoring and fashion designing course as a part of branding Inner Wheel .
