Friendship Day Celebrations with IIW Treasurer Sarita Lunani
The IWC of Vijayawada, together with Zone III Clubs – IWCs of Vijayawada East, Vijayawada Mid Town, Vijayawada Divas Eluru, Bhimavaram, Vuyyuru, and Nuzvid Mango Town – jointly commemorated Friendship Day.
IIW Treasurer Saita Lunani was the chief guest.
All together there were 50 participants.
Participants included PDCs Vijayasree Gupta, G. Rashmi Samaram, Kanaka Durga, Pramila Rani, and V. Sridevi as well as AC member P. Yasoda. The members were greeted with roses and dancing by the orphans from Vasavya.
As the group gathered, G. Kiranmayi, president of IWC Vijayawada, gave a welcome speech, and Karam Kaur, president of Vijayawada Mid Town, said the Inner Wheel prayer. The members took part in a dance performance by Dr. Sudeepti.
The event’s organiser, PDC G Rashmi Samaram, presented a cordial welcome speech.
Sarita Lunani, the IIW Treasurer, presented awards to the winners of the games that Kavitha, the president of Vijayawada Divas, organised. She was grateful that all the clubs came together to celebrate Friendship Day.
She inspired everyone to collaborate amicably by retelling the revised Hare and Tortoise tale and explaining how the five fingers operate better when used as a group.
