INNER WHEEL CLUB OF VIJAYAWADA

Honouring Freedom Fighter

On 9.8.2022, the INNER WHEEL CLUB OF VIJAYAWADA honoured Smt. Manorama, a 95-year-old freedom warrior, in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Quit India campaign, in which she took part. A shawl, a fruit basket, and a potted plant were presented to her as gifts. Participants were the president G. Kiranmayi, PDC Rashmi Samaram,  PP Sujatha, treasurer V. Udayarka, and new member G. Durgesh Nandini.

Freedom fighters are the pillars behind the freedom movement. They made people aware of their rights and their power. It is all because of the freedom fighters that we prospered into a free country free from any kind of colonizers or injustice.
