Smt. Ganga was born in Vijayawada to the esteemed Malladi Kutumbarao and Annapurnamma. Her father was a well-known personality in the paper business and received many awards and rewards.
At the age of 15, Smt. Ganga married Sri Lanka Shivananda Sastry. Her husband also worked as a Sales In-charge in a paper company and earned a good reputation. Smt. Ganga always treated her in-laws with great respect. They have three children: their eldest son, Sriram Prasad (daughter-in-law Raga Sudha, and one son), their second son, Swaminathan, and their third son, Chaitanya (daughter-in-law Kanthi Sri, and two sons). As a homemaker and a mother, she always greeted everyone with a smile, took on all responsibilities, and was a great support to everyone. She has a deep fondness for music and reading books.
From a young age, Smt. Ganga cultivated great patience, tolerance, a spirit of service towards elders, respect, and a strong spiritual inclination. With the vision of serving her birthplace, Vijayawada, she joined the Inner Wheel Club.
