INNER WHEEL CLUB OF VIJAYAWADA

Akula Nookaratnam from IWC of Vijayawada was the District Chairman for the year 1982-1983. ‘Understanding and Peace’ was the theme given by IIW President Britt Fjellander from Sweden. Association President Dr. Muriel Sukumaran is from Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala state. During her tenure, IWC of Amalapuram came into existence. As the Chairman she raised funds and conducted Jaipur foot operations to several needy people. Concentrated on health and hygiene programs. Adult Education Centres were organised at various places in the District.
