Darisipudi Balasundari Murthy from IWC of Vijayawada led District 315 as Chairman in the year 1980-1981. Anne LeBeau from Belgium was the IIW President and her theme was ‘Open your Heart.’ Sheila F. Irani from Mysore was the Association President who chose ‘More Faith, More Hope, More Service’  as the Association theme. Chairman Balasundari opted for ‘Serve with Dedication’ as the District theme. District Events during the year: The Assembly was hosted by IWC of Vijayawada, the Rally by IWC of Warangal and the Conference by IWC of Guntur. 7 new clubs were added taking the total to 19: IWC of Bhimavaram, IWC of Eluru, IWC of Guntur North, IWC of Khammam, IWC of Narasaraopet, IWC of Twin Cities Hyderabad, IWC of Vizianagaram.
