As is well known, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, India’s second president and a famous philosopher, teacher, and scholar, was born on September 5. Blood Donation Camp

Blood donation is one of the most important component of healthcare. Blood donation is instrumental in saving the lives of millions of patients who are in dire need of blood. Further, blood donations also help in improving the life of people who have a variety of chronic conditions.

IWC Vijayawada organized a Blood Donation Camp at Red Cross Blood Bank and mobilised 21 Blood donors. Blood  (350 ml )was collected from 13 Donors…

Education

Providing school kits to underprivileged students is one of our focus.  We donated textbooks, notepads, pens, pencils, sketch pens, erasers, and other school supplies to two boys in the 10th class at the AKTP High School.. Additionally, we provided their school with sports equipment including four throw balls, four rings, two rackets, two nets, two skipping ropes, etc.. 

Health & Hygene

Our Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program focuses on encouraging hygienic practices during menstruation, dispelling common myths and misconceptions associated with periods and enabling girls to speak about menstrual issues without inhibition. The overall aim of this project is to make menstruation an approachable and discussable topic, even in rural India….

Dear friends

  I am happy to share with you all that on the last day of my tenure as President, l could do a project with the support of our friends, PP S. N. V. Radhika, PDC Maniprabha garu, PP T. Janaki garu, Saroja garu and Durgesh Nandini. We all went together and donated a movable motion chair (cost 7500rs)and imported Crutches worth 3000rs ( both sponsored by me)to an old age home called ” AMMA PREMA ADARANA SEVA SAMASTHA”  in Ajit singh nagar with 40 inmates, 32 women and 8 men. Our members PDC Maniprabha garu, PP T. Janaki garu and Durgesh Nandini sponsored breakfast  tomorrow by donating Rs. 500 each. Total cost of the project Rs.12000…… President G. Kiranmayi
